Scene Study for Auditioning Cohort

We are super excited to be offering this Cohort to you all. This will be a 5 week class running Wednesday evenings starting April 8th and will run from 7:000PM - 9:00PM EST over Zoom, so you can join this class from anywhere! This 5-week Scene Study Cohort is designed to help actors develop the essential skills needed to approach scene-based auditions with confidence, clarity, and creativity. In today’s casting environment, the ability to truly connect and work dynamically with another actor is a critical factor in standing out; whether you’re auditioning for film, television, theater, or commercial projects. Throughout the cohort, we will focus on best practices for preparing and performing scenes, with an emphasis on authentic listening, responsiveness, and grounded choices. You’ll learn how to break down scripts in a way that reveals deeper meaning, allowing you to make strong, specific choices that serve both the character and the overall story. We will also explore continuity; an often overlooked but crucial component of on-camera work so your performances remain consistent and believable across takes. In addition, you’ll be introduced to visualization techniques that help you more fully inhabit your character’s world, circumstances, and relationships, bringing a richer sense of truth to your work. Each session is designed to build on the last, giving you practical tools and repeatable techniques that elevate your performances and make your auditions more compelling. By the end of the cohort, you’ll have a stronger process, sharper instincts, and the confidence to make your work truly stand out. Rate: $375.
